A humanidade \u00e9 uma parte da natureza. Essa \u00e9 nossa casa comum como a concha de um caramujo.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Todavia, fomos educados tradicionalmente que natureza existe para servir do ser humano e que somos os donos da natureza. No Brasil, esse modo de pensar est\u00e1 agredindo e destruindo a natureza para acumular riquezas com a extra\u00e7\u00e3o irracional das riquezas naturais, como a madeira e metais preciosos, ou com a cria\u00e7\u00e3o de gado e agricultura voltadas apenas para\u00a0 exporta\u00e7\u00e3o.\u00a0Para isso, destroem-se as florestas, exterminam os animais e at\u00e9 provocam um verdadeiro genoc\u00eddio em povos ind\u00edgenas pela fome e por doen\u00e7as.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A destrui\u00e7\u00e3o do meio ambiente est\u00e1 relacionada com a explora\u00e7\u00e3o entre os seres humanos, que gera a desigualdade social, a pobreza, a mis\u00e9ria e a fome.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Muitos pesquisadores e povos da floresta v\u00eam alertando, h\u00e1 pelo menos 50 anos, as autoridades e a popula\u00e7\u00e3o em geral para uma crise socioambiental muito grave.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00c9 preciso repensar o nosso modo de vida em rela\u00e7\u00e3o ao meio ambiente e o tipo de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica que se faz com nossas florestas e com os povos ind\u00edgenas, ribeirinhos e quilombolas.
